"Works good for me tbh"
I’ve been using the DIRECTV streaming app for a few weeks now and it’s been solid. Channels pop up quick, the picture is nice and clear, and it hasn’t been freezing on me like my old app used to. So far, no real complaints, I’m happy with it.

"Finally got my local channels"
I switched over mostly because I was tired of messing around with antennas just to get my local channels 😅 DIRECTV had all of them in my area, even the smaller station I was worried about. Setup went smoothly, it just works. Happy with it so far
"Price went up, but it still works"
I noticed the price went up, which is a bit frustrating. The service still works fine and I haven’t had any major issues, but if it keeps getting more expensive without adding much value, I might start looking at other options.
"Billing has been a headache"
The service itself is okay, but the billing has been a mess. I’ve had extra charges show up on my bill twice now, and both times I had to call in and spend time getting it fixed. They did adjust it eventually, but it took way longer than it should have. I’m just annoyed because I shouldn’t have to do extra work every month checking my bill and chasing down mistakes.
"Install went way better than I expected"
I had directv installed yesterday, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The tech showed up during the window, called before he got there, and was really easy to deal with when I explained where I wanted the boxes set up.
He walked me through the remote and the app without making it feel like some long lesson, which you definitely appreciate when you just want everything working. He even cleaned up the little mess from drilling, and everything was good to go before he left. No complaints at all, just a smooth install
"DIRECTV has been hassle-free"
I’ve had DIRECTV for a while now, the box and remote have been totally solid. From the way people talk about TV service, I kind of assumed there’d be random glitches or annoying issues, but that hasn’t really been the case for me. The picture stays clear, the remote works like it should, and I barely have to think about it, which is exactly what I wanted.

I’ve been using DIRECTV for a bit now it’s been worth it for us. We get the channels we actually watch, including sports, and the bill feels fair compared to what I was paying before. Setup wasn’t hard at all, and the app works fine most days. It’s not perfect or anything, but for the price I’m defintely happy with it...

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the channels look really sharp and the sound is nice and clear. I haven’t run into any weird issues so far, so it’s been a smooth experience.

I’d seen a few people say the directv remote was straightforward, i agree. The buttons are laid out in a way that makes sense, and I was able to find my shows without having to mess around or figure out a bunch of confusing menus

"Plenty to Watch Without the Hassle"
I’ve been using DIRECTV mostly for the on-demand options, and it’s been a really solid experience. There’s a ton to choose from, including movies, shows, older seasons, and stuff for the kids. I usually don’t have to scroll forever to find something, which is nice because that whole endless-search thing feels avoidable here. Newer episodes seem to show up quickly too. No major complaints from me, it does what I need and makes it easy to find something to watch.

I mainly got directv for sports package, it’s been worth it for me. I can watch football, basketball, and bunch of out-of-market games without having to jump between different apps all the time. The price feels fair with how much I actually use it, and setup was easy too. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Honestly, I’m Way Too Happy With This DVR"
I use the DVR on DIRECTV constantly, like probably more than I should, and it has been ridiculously easy. It just records my shows without me having to babysit it, which feels like a tiny miracle every time. Playback has been smooth, and being able to pause and rewind live TV is dangerous because now I expect the entire universe to work that way. No major issues so far, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

"Surprisingly helpful tech support"
I usually can’t stand dealing with tech support, and I expected this to be a waste of time, but the guy actually fixed my signal issue quickly. I’m still kind of annoyed it happened in the first place, but I have to admit the help was better than I expected.

"Surprisingly Reliable, Which Feels Almost Suspicious"
I’ve had directv for a while now, the signal has been way more reliable than I thought it would be. I fully expected one gust of wind or a dramatic rain cloud to knock it out, because naturally that’s how these things usually go, right? But nope, it mostly just keeps working. During heavy rain or windy days, I’ve rarely had any weird cutting out. Maybe once during a long storm it got a little spotty, but it came back quickly. For everyday TV, sports, and news, it does exactly what I need it to do. Shocking, I know, a service that actually works the way it’s supposed to. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Pretty much what I expected, in a good way"
I went with DIRECTV mainly because the price seemed reasonable compared to what I thought I’d end up paying somewhere else. I was expecting at least a few surprise fees to pop up, but everything was laid out clearly before I signed up. My first bill was really close to what I had in mind, which was a relief. So far, it feels fair and not like they’re sneaking in a bunch of random extras

"DIRECTV’s website is always a hassle"
Trying to manage my account on directv was annoying. The pages felt slow, the billing info was buried like it always is with these sites, and I had to log in twice for no clear reason. It’s not the absolute worst thing ever, but it definitely wasn’t a good experience.

When the weather gets really bad, we do lose service sometimes, which can be frustrating. But directv usually comes back on quicker than I think it will, if that makes sense. The picture looks good most of the time, and the one time I had to call support, they were fine. It’s not perfect, but I’m still happy with it overall
